On March 5, President Arayik Harutyunyan received the delegation of the Yezidi National Union led by Khdr Hajoyan, the new leader of the Union.
The decree by the Republic of Artsakh President on awarding posthumously with the "Mesrop Mashtots" Order Aziz Tamoyan, former leader of the Yezidi National Union, a friend of the Armenian people, was presented during the meeting.
The President of Artsakh thanked the Yezidi community of Armenia for always standing alongside Artsakh and noted the importance of expanding cooperation with the community.
In this context, a number of issues on the areas of cooperation and overcoming the consequences of the recent war was discussed.
