On 29 August Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the Gishi village and the Chartar town in the Martouni region and partook there at solemn opening ceremonies of new sports complexes after Hero of Artsakh Monte Melkonyan.
The President expressed gratitude to philanthropist Vladimir Avagyan for the realization of these important programs noting that physical education of the younger generation would further on remain in the spotlight of the state.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, premier Arayik Haroutyunyan and other officials were present at the event.
