On June 5, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan took part in the opening ceremony of a TUMO box placed in the town of Askeran thanks to the philanthropists who joined the "TUMO Armenia" educational program expansion initiative.
In the current year, similar boxes have been installed in Martakert and Martuni towns within the framework of the program. The TUMO creative technology centers opened in three regional centers are designed for about a thousand students. The government will provide transport means so that students from the communities adjacent to the regional centers have the opportunity to study in those centers.
The Head of the State acknowledged the role of the program in the filed of contemporary education and development of children noting that the Government is interested in placing TUMO boxes in other large settlements of Artsakh too.
In her remarks, TUMO CEO Marie Lou Papazian, who attended the event, conveyed her gratitude to the Artsakh authorities for the efficient cooperation and assured that all the preconditions have been created for the effective activity and expansion of the program.
