On 26 August Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan had an online conversation with High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Zareh Sinanyan.
The Head of the State touched upon the situation in Lebanon underlining that consolidating pan-Armenian efforts for the solution of problems facing the local Armenian community is of utmost importance. According to President Harutyunyan, overcoming the existing difficulties is an imperative for the Armenian community to restore its everyday life, however, if there are families which would like to move, their repatriation is preferable. Within this context, the republic's President spoke of the Artsakh Government's initiatives which were presented in detail by head of the working group on the organization and coordination of activities on provision of material assistance to the Armenian community of Lebanon, chief advisor to the President of the Artsakh Republic - Ambassador at large Rudik Hyusnunts.
Zareh Sinanyan noted that by its substantial participation Artsakh showed that it shares the burden of pan-Armenian problems, and on the path of confronting greater challenges, Artsakh's further strengthening should be seen as an issue of national agenda.
Advisоr to the Artsakh Republic President, President's representative at large on Diaspora issues Azatouhi Simonyan partook in the meeting too.
