On 18 December Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan watched an exhibition devoted to the life and activity of Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Garegin I Hovsepyan organized at the Stepanakert Culture and Youth Palace within the frameworks of festive events marking the 150th birthday anniversary of the Catholicos.
President Sahakyan underlined that Garegin Hovsepyan belonged to the constellation of great Armenian figures whose contribution to strengthening the Armenian Apostolic Church in the difficult historical-geopolitical period, developing religious and public life, maintaining the Armenian national identity in the Diaspora and cementing the Motherland-Diaspora ties was inestimable, adding that Artsakh people were proud to have such a compatriot.
