On 27 March Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the regional center of Martouni and partook at the Divine Liturgy of Easter Sunday held at the Saint Nerses the Great Church.
The President was also present at the contest-festival organized in connection with the Easter Sunday in the town's central square.
Bako Sahakyan signified the organization of such events noting their tangible contribution to maintaining national traditions and reviving the cultural life in regional centers.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, prime-minister Arayik Haroutyunyan and other officials accompanied the President.
