On June 7, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan visited the State Revenue Committee and met with the staff of the structure.
At the beginning of the meeting, SRC Chairman David Poghosyan made a report, presenting that in January-May of the current year the tax revenues and duties paid to the state budget amounted to more than 16 billion AMD, exceeding the planned 14 billion AMD index by 14.3%.
Extensive work has been done by the structure to provide references on the amount of damage to taxpayers who suffered material damage in the aftermath of hostilities, to resolve the problems businesses faced as a result of the 44-day war, to create a legislative base for introducing a simplified tax system for a number of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as other directions.
The Head of State expressed his satisfaction with the consistent work of the system's employees, noting that the work carried out within the framework of the tax discipline improvement program should be of a continuous nature. According to Arayik Harutyunyan, all actions should be carried out only within the law, showing equal treatment towards all taxpayers.
President Harutyunyan also touched upon the internal and external problems of the country, answered the questions of those present.
Chief of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President Karen Shahramanyan was present at the meeting too.
