On June 29, the day of remembrance of martyrs and missing freedom fighters for the Motherland, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan, accompanied by members of the Security Council, high-ranking state and military officials, visited the Stepanakert memorial and pay tribute to the khachkar-monument, commemorating the missing freedom fighters.

Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, made a spiritual order, and Vera Grigoryan, leader of the NKR Union of missing soldiers', made a speech. Afterwards, the head of state visited the military pantheon to pay tribute to the memory of the soldiers who perished defending the homeland.
